Last friday I had dinner with my along & abg long @ pizzahut klcc, after the dinner i wonder into a crystal shop to look for a present for butet, i was also thinking of adding up a signature accessory for myself. It was unplanned that my sis had a bright idea of treating me with a labdorite crystal pendant :P for my advance birthday present!
this is how the pendant looks like, but my labdorite crystal is more greyish & looks better in real like as you can see the specrolites sparkle
these are some facts i got from http://www.stonemania.co.uk on Labradorite
The easiest way to say Labradorite is in two syllables, putting the emphasise on the letters in bold, 'Labrad' 'orite', Labradorite.
Labradorite is very iridescent meaning it displays a spectrum of colour that changes depending on the angle at which you look at it and the colour which can be seen in a good piece of Labradorite is really quite breathtaking. This effect is called schiller or labradorescence.
Green or blue are most common but occasionally red, yellow or grey can also be seen. The finer the stone, the more striking the colour will be.
With regards to healing properties Labradorite is said to provide clarity to the inner self, enhance patience and offer a quick relief from feelings of anxiety and hopelessness replacing them with enthusiasm and inspiration.
It dispels negativity and improves one's ability to cooperate with others.
It is also believed to give perseverance and strength.
Other benefits of Labradorite are to help treat eye and brain disorders and to help regulate metabolism and the digestive process.
Labradorite can also help to purge negative thought patterns, to give great insight and vision and it allows one to communicate these gifts in a beneficial way for the self and others.
It is said to bring out your best qualities allowing you to be all that you can. Labradorite is a powerful self esteem building gemstone.
